He has got esteemed Fellow of the College of Chest Physicians (FCCP) from the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP) USA. His area of expertise includes Interventional Pulmonology, Emphysema, Tuberculosis, Asthma, Respiratory Diagnostic, Bronchoscopy, Pulmonary Function Test, Allergy, and Sleep Medicine. He is a member of various prestigious organizations including Member of European Respiratory Society & the American Thoracic Society, Member Of Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine, Member Of Indian Association of Bronchology, Member Of Indian Chest Society etc. No wonder he is considered the best pulmonologist in Hebbal, Bangalore.
- Starting from his college days he has been conferred with many prestigious awards. In his first phase of MBBS, he secured his first position in physiology and awarded with Dr. Rani Kanaka Memorial Award. He secured second position at BRONCOCON 2006 bronchoscopy quiz program held in Chennai, the first position in spirometry interpretation, a state-level CME organized at Coimbatore, and second position in the Chest Radiology quiz, at NAPCON 2007 conducted in Chandigarh. He has been a part of the Respiratory Research Network of India (RRNI). He worked as a coinvestigator in studies like “Antibiotic Prescribing Practices and Prevalence of Antibiotic Resistance” (APPRISE) in various Intensive Care Units across multiple centres in India, The European Multicentre Bronchiectasis Audit and Research Collaboration (EMBARC) in India. He also worked as a principal Investigator in International Clinical Trials on Asthma. His contribution to the research and development of the medical field is remarkable. He has published many research papers and case studies related to respiratory diseases which makes him a recognized doctor in his field. He has also delivered many informative talks related to Covid cases, Obstructive Sleep Apnea, etc.
